Someone (Fritz Buehning??) did a drop serve to John Mcenroe at an Australian Open many years ago. Mcenroe seemed less than impressed. I think it's a legitimate tactic and something players should do...

I quite like the umpires who disrespect the players. There's no shortage of players who disrespect the umpire, and also players who think their role is to both play and umpire the match.

I've only seen Raonic play about half a dozen times but every time I've watched him his game has been riddled with unforced errors at important moments. Massively overrated on what I've seen

His run started by winning the lead up tournament to Wimbledon last year. His best chance might be to get there at the French Open because he has a lot more points to defend from then on.

The slowing down of conditions has improved grass court tennis enormously. 15 years ago it was one unreturnable serve after another. Hard court conditions do need to be speeded up, but only slightly....

Haas got as high as number 2 in the world but never won a Grand Slam because he was a choker. When he wasn't choking he was injured. His biggest contribution to the game is what he's doing now....

Haas wasn't only hampered by injury. he was also prone to choking under pressure. But it's still a brilliant performance to get back to where he is in the rankings.
