One tip and it's obvious is constantly stay on your toes while getting into position to strike that ball, always be on your toes. If your flat footed you won't be able to get across court as fast.

It should do, and if it doesn't and the pusher returns your shot, if your fast on your feet, it shouldn't be too much of a problem as he will be moonballing them to you with not alot of power.

I think it's to do with how you hold the racquet with the continental grip. If your using continental, you shouldn't use it for forehands because shots go wild and it's hard to control.

That's because he doesn't throw the ball high...

That's because he doesn't throw the ball high enough. If anything that is like 10x easier to return than a normal serve. If your better than him you should be able to pounce on these and smash them...
