Don't know if it's really softer (hahaha) but it's more solid and doesn't hurt my arm.

The Radical may 'feel' softer due to the larger head size.

But, when I have to play with those senior ball-tappers, I need to use a 100" head as my mid sizes...

As a matter of fact, I changed from playing the TiRad MP to playing the Redondo Mid. I'd played a friend's Redondo MP and it felt even softer than the mid.
