Thanks Toly.
Yandell (guy quoted on every pro spin stat ) agrees with you
Sampras had more topspin on his serve than anyone, per JY, only 30%, rest side spin
Part of the problem is semantics,...

Do Pros Use Same Serve Toss Every Time?
A recent meme, probably because Justin Gimelstob says it repeatedly in seemingly every match, is that "Great servers use the same, identical toss on every serve."
Now Pete Sampras did, and it is a...

Raonic Varies His Toss
I agree on the first serve, although I believe Isner's 2nd is much more effective.
However, Raonic does not use an identical toss on every serve, he has multiple tosses. See my photos and slow...

Better Server, Milos Raonic or John Isner?
Thought I'd post this after an active discussion on Twitter.
Part of the difficulty is defining what "best server" means: Only first, or both 1st and 2nd serve? (I'd say Isner's second is much...

Single return?
When Roddick hit the, then record 154 mph serve, Jonas Björkman, not only returned Andy's serve, he chipped and charged. My vote :)

Agreed
Impossible to truly isolate any one shot , but we can try :)
Tennis lacks stats of major sports. Love to see 1) points won with 1 ground stroke or less and 2) unreturned serves.

The Dog
Fun to watch.
Still experimenting, shaping his game.
In DC he served to deuce court from doubles position, yet could still hit the T at 135 .
Don't know if he can win this way but I love watching...

Pim pim
I'd agree Joachim had the best serve I've ever seen.
Would hit ridiculously short, wide in the box at 13o mph on both sides.
Of course, his shoulder would last about three tournaments between...

Agreed. I was disappointed that they didn't provide that.
It's curious the way the enormous Hawk-Eye database is being dribbled out in random bytes, but apparently can't be accessed. At least, I...

For one thing, the mains dominate how the racket feels, so the transition from his original all-gut stringing would be less drastic when he went to hybird with Lux in the crosses.
Secondly, gut has...
