The first set and a half of the Ven-Dem match must have set a record for inept, error ridden, most number of double faults, shanked balls, & breaks from both players in WTA top player history. It looks as if Serena is miles ahead of them all (& after 8 months off!!) There's no point analysing the play. It was just bad tennis. Sort of like the tennis Kiefer played against Coria. Great TV tennis to-day!
