Use them for chins/dips, leg raises. Don't run with them, IMHO. Captain's Chair with them is good. I have a pair of 5 lbs strap on leg weights. For dips you might want to use a bit more weight if you can do, say, 10 proper dips with your bodyweight. Try holding a 20 lb. dumbbell between your feet, and give it a go. Ditto for chins, once you can do 10-12 bodyweight chins.
