Bump and update; I got a new linear gripper from the seller and I changed it yesterday. Was pretty easy,, just knock out a bolt and remove the gripper from the machine. In with the new.

The new gripper goes much smoother. The original gripper had some moving-issues and I think itīs all set now. At least it seemed to grip the string much harder / better now. I also saw that it was possible to adjust the level of pressure on the gripper when it was removed from the machine
