I am becoming more and more annoyed at how fast things I buy become obsolete. In the 1990s, I had nice Nikon film cameras that were built to last. Now, if I buy a nice digital camera, it is archaic two years later. The same is true with televisions, phones, computers, and everything else you can buy.

An exception is tennis racquets, where I think the 1990s racquets performed better, in general, than what is offered today. This brings to mind an obscure question. I hit with Völkl frames that belonged to Ĺsa Carlsson (now Ĺsa Svensson) around 1996. I really liked these framed and wonder what model they were and if Völkl still makes anything similar to the frame.
