OK, here is my review in the TW format of the Genesis Xplosion 16.

It was fairly easy to string up. Bounced a few balls off it and the feel is muted.

Tension it is strung: 60 pounds on a lockout machine full bed
Your regular string set up: Mantis Comfort Synthetic 60 pounds full bed
String pattern of your racquet: 16 x 20
Power (or lack there of): Medium/High powered multi
Feel: Below average feel
Tension maintenance: Good so far
Price: $10/set
Overall comments and feedback: See below

General: I thought after the first few hits this string would be a keeper. Once I put it into match play, I hit way too many balls long.

Serve/Return of Serve: I can't comment on serves since I have a bum shoulder and I'm hitting a Jay Berger type serve. Returns were difficult to control. One game I hit 4 straight returns long.

Strokes: Average spin on both wings. Depth control was all over the place. I never felt like I could flatten out the ball and control it so I was stuck with hitting spinny shots to keep the ball in.

Volleys: I had one great touch volley, but other than that this is below average in the volley department.

Touch shots: I could not place droppers with this string.

Softness: The string feels like a softer multi. I did not feel my elbow one time.

Tension: Too low for my game. I'd have to up it if I played with this again.

Durability: I cut this out after my first match.

Movement: It's moving around a decent amount after less than 2 sets.

Conclusion: This was a well below average string for me in almost every area. I would not try it again.
