OK, here is my review in the TW format of the Gamma TNT2 16.
It was fairly easy to string up. It is noticeably firmer than other multis I've tested to date.
Tension it is strung: 60 pounds on a lockout machine full bed
Your regular string set up: Mantis Comfort Synthetic 60 pounds full bed
String pattern of your racquet: 16 x 20
Power (or lack there of): Medium/High powered multi
Feel: Below average feel
Tension maintenance: Good so far
Overall comments and feedback: See below
General: I could tell after the first few hits that this was the stiffest string I've used in awhile. Like the Xplosion in the review above, I hit way too many balls long.
Serve/Return of Serve: I can't comment on serves since I have a bum shoulder and I'm hitting a Jay Berger type serve. Returns were difficult to control.
Strokes: Average spin on both wings. Depth control was all over the place. I never felt like I could flatten out the ball and control it so I was stuck with hitting spinny shots to keep the ball in.
Volleys: It's average for volleys.
Touch shots: I could not place droppers with this string.
Softness: The string is a very stiff multi that mirrors the RSI rating. Still, I did not feel my elbow one time.
Tension: Too low for my game. I'd have to up it if I played with this again.
Durability: I cut it out after the 1st outing.
Movement: Not too much movement yet.
Conclusion: This was a well below average string for me in almost every area. I would not try it again.
