I finally tried Midas Touch from Dogfish Head. Supposedly the oldest recipe for a beer-type beverage ever found-made with barley, muscat grapes, honey and saffron. I was always interested in trying it but never wanted to part with $15 for a 4-pack. Found a single yesterday and glad I tried it. Very tasty beer, much like a good Belgian.

Also had a Lost Abbey Judgement Day, quad-styled Belgian. I haven't been drinking much of their beer lately but they're certainly one of the best American brewers that do Belgian styles. Just a very smooth, flavorful and complex quad-style.

Brother Thelonius tonight...
