I was actually referring to the small interview that the BBC (Gary Richardson) does immediately after the match with the winning player before they even get back to the locker room - not the official media one, which I think you quote from.

But fair enough, perhaps I am being too harsh, the guy had just come off court, hardly the best time to give interviews and perhaps I picked up what he said wrongly or inferred something he didn't mean. Its just a gut feeling I have about him - I know you have to have a true confidence to win and some of my favourite players have definitely bordered on the arrogant at times (Becker or McEnroe for example) but because he is quiet I find people are less ready to tag him in the way they are ready to tag Hewitt or Roddick with the label 'brash', 'punk' or 'arrogant'.
