Nah, Becker- it should say ' One of the greatest half seasons'. Then Fed took him out in FO, followed by Murray, then he beat Fed in USO but that left him crocked for the rest of the year and so fragile that Nishikori bageled him and he had to withdraw in fear of facing Tsonga in that state.

As for McEnroe, he's very prone to exaggerating, so he can be ignored.
However, if the Djoker can recover and maintain his form, it maybe possible for him to have the greatest ever season in 2012.
