That's a great list. I don't concede that it actually tells you much about who was better. Laver has a raw advantage in total head to head, but Rosewall seemed more dangerous in the big finals. Laver was younger when they first met - 24 vs 28 - which also meant he did not play Rosewall when Ken was at his peak. Both players tended to fade a bit around age 35 but Rosewall found a second wind. I think their rivalry is the greatest in the history of the game, more than 140 matches across 14 seasons of elite competition. I don't think we'll see that again.
