Wantin to try an older Fischer
I have 4 Fischer Pro No One 98s (SL, No tolerance)
I like them quite a bit, and have been using them for over 2 years now -- while I don't think they are exactly "perfect" for me, I haven't found anything better.
But I've heard that some of the older Fischers are ever more comfy, more solid and more stable. So I'm interested in trying something, but I don't know much about the old offerings.
Can anyone offer suggestions? If there is anything that doesn't have a tapered beam but is more constant, that might be good for me. Feel is really important and I want it my frames to feel rock solid and "plush."
But the other thing that is important is that I need something I can actually find a few of in either 4 3/8 or 4 1/2. I'm actually looking for something that I might consider switching to, so availability (even used) is important.
Speed Pro? Vacuum something or other? Black Granite? I don't really even know the differences or what's what when it comes to the older offerings, so suggestions and explanations are greatly appreciated.
