There is absolutely no problem in loosening up a racquet by using your foot and bodyweight on the string bed. Just do it on a hard surface and place a towel underneath the racquet. Center your foot and bounce (not jump) up and down a few times -- repeat as necessary. You will be moving the strings slightly and will not place any undue stress on the frame itself. I have seen pros do the same thing. It works.
