I just can't stand the company that handcuffs its users over and over again, and people buy into it when simplicity is always not key.
having people just use the hardware and software without knowing what goes on is just foolish. you should always know at a glance how something works ie computers so that you can kinda troubleshoot stuff yourself without getting taken to the cleaners by GeekSquad guys and other PC repair places.
I guess I come from the experience of watching innocent consumers getting ripped off needlessly as a company takes advantage of them because they are sold and taught to deal with simplicity.
It's good to stay informed in a competitive market. Getting herded is not always the wise.
