So I use a Volkl x325 racket with Cyclone string......i have for a long time stringed the racket with the mains at 53 and the crosses at 50.... i had read some time ago to string the crosses looser because the shorter distance makes the strings tighter........i really do enjoy the way it feels but it takes a set or two for the strings to settle down to where i really enjoy the feel.....so who out there has the knowledge to tell me what part of the string bed is settling in to make it feel better after playing for a while....i have recently decided to string it straight up at 53 m/c and it feels great at first but over time something changes and i especially notice it on my serve, which is a big part of my game.....cheers.
