Switching gears, I was watching Djokovic-Haas last night. Djokovic had the racquet-pointing-up stance before almost every forehand which is nowadays favored by everyone. It helps with higher bouncing balls as I posted earlier. However, Haas did not have this takeback. His was more to the right and angled, though still slightly upwards. On certain shots when the bounce was lower, I have to admit Djokovic seemed to be doing extra movement going up and down which seemed unnecessary.
Has anyone analyzed the pros and cons of this?
