I recently had the pleasure of attending the Tennis League Network (TLN) national playoffs at the Crandon Park Tennis Center on Key Biscayne in Miami (where the Sony Ericsson tournament is held), Nov. 2 - 4. It's more or less an open tourney (ie., participation requires only being a TLN member and paying the entry fee), and so might not necessarily be representative of the best TLN players nationwide.
Nevertheless, there were some very good players there and I had a lot of fun watching the matches on all levels, meeting players from around the country, as well as competing. I use the word competing loosely, as I lost all four of my matches in the qualifying rounds on days 1 and 2.
There were 30 (25 men and 5 women) players from around the country competing in four categories, Men's Elite (4.0+), Men's Advanced (3.5 to 4.0), Men's Competitive (3.0 to 3.5) and Women's.
Below is a link to some pics and vids I took of the event. Pardon the quality. I'm just an amateur using a relatively cheap Sony Cybershot camera.
