Before you settle on PPA, you should try Signum Pro Micronite or Discho Microfibre. I'm pretty sure they are the same string and for me it lasts just as long as PPA but does not stiffen up at the end. PPA has more spin and does not move as much but the Discho is softer and has better feel.
