Thankfully my heart is back to normal shape, but I still have good ol' hypertension at the age of 23. I try to run, swim, box and tennis my *** off, but at this point it's just genetics. Do have a resting heart rate of ~50, incredibly good lipid levels and (unfortunately) have a quite high BMR which leads to always sweating more than everyone else lol. So with that in mind, yeap, I'm pretty pleased.
My BP at its peak was about 190/130, but now will range in the mid 150s/115 or so. On the above meds, I'm almost always right at 115/high 60s.
