One similarity in stroke/swing production, especially the open stance groundies, is the development of torque through ******ing trunk rotation vs hip rotation...in golf this aids in reaching "the slot" which is key for the enormous power the current stars generate on tee/long iron shots. IIRC, Harold Solomon uses that term (the slot) when referencing work he does/did with some of his top pros recently.
