You clearly bought the wrong shoe for your style of play. Just looking at the design, if you have a habit of dragging the side of your foot you should have gotten something with a cage over the entire front of the foot such as: Breathe 2k12, CB, or B7.

If you're trying something for the first time maybe you should have bought a previous season colorway for $99 to see if you like it.
