If I had to pick a racket that really jumped the shark it would hands down have to be Wilson's Hammer 6.2, the skunk These used to be everywhere (one of the best selling rackets of the 90's). Really popular racket, really versatile in the sense that it was good from all areas of the court and could be effectively wielded from intermediate players up to pro level players. There were a lot of descendants/variants - hypercarbon, stretch, power holes, not sure if there was a rollers version. The nSix-Two still was decent, there was a [k]Six-Two that I rarely saw anywhere, and I think the once-proud line went extinct after that.
