The article posted by andfor is correct. Most of cramping in tennis is the result of dehydration, loss of electrolytes. Has to do with the amount you sweat and the saltiness of your sweat. Gatorade is weak for electrolyte replacement. There are powders out there with up to 8 times the electrolytes. Some players also use salt tablets, but you have to be VERY careful with that and know exactly what you are doing. There is a lot of good information on the web from reliable sources. It is your responsibility to educate yourself.
