That being said, I've used Gut/PHT before. It's a nice playing set up but I found the PHT ate through the gut rather quickly considering the stiffness of PHT.

Is synthetic gut the closest thing to real gut? Or is a more expensive multi closer to how gut feels?
I've never hit with natural gut before, but it seems like there is quite a big price difference between natural and synthetic for something that plays so similar in a hybrid.
