for this racquet, 18' is plenty to do the mains and 16' is plenty for the cross in a 2 pc pattern. if you were doing a 1 piece job, you could get by w/ 32-33'. i've strung up my PS85s many times and usually only need 17.5' max w/ even stiff polys and 15.5' for the crosses in a 2 pc job.
