Junior Seau played football for almost three decades - four years of high school, three years at USC, and of course 20 seasons in the NFL. On top of that, he played middle/outside linebacker - an absolutely BRUTAL position, even by football standards. The abuse he took during this time is by no means the norm. But parents must consider his tragic story when signing their children up for Pee-Wee league and beyond.
