Now here was one of the most exciting matches in recent years, yet the AM's are relatively low.

It was exciting because there were so many winners; but the AM's are low because the UE's were high.

Officially, Connors had 86 winners and 106 UE. Krickstein had 38w, 44ue.

So both men had negative winner/error differentials: Connors at -20, Krickstein at -6.

Connors won the match but has poorer stats than Krickstein because he trailed Krickstein by a large margin in total points won: 181-193.
