Nah... not unless your stringing machine is
WAY out of whack. I had a Babolat Star 5 accidentally string one of my PD2012s at 70# instead of 60# with Wilson 17G NG. No problems... string is still in after 2 months and still hasn't broken yet. Tension dropped to about 64# after about the first 2 weeks.
