I kind of miss having the control over the phone I get with an Android (i.e. file browser to arrange files as I see fit, greater selection of apps, being able to download music and videos from a DLNA server, no available app to view MS Access database tables). The Lumia 920 is a good phone, but it has a couple of quirks I don't get with any of the Androids I've used. Part of it might have to do with the WP8 platform, but hearing pops and noise on some of my MP3s irritates me. Especially when these same files I didn't experience an issue with my other phones (Blackberry Curve/Bold, Android 1.x/2.x/4.x), including non-smartphones. Enabling "Dolby Headphone playback" might have fixed that MP3 issue, but I'm sure most users in this situation would not have figured that out.
The battery life is pretty good and from a few of the photos I took the quality is good. It's not as light or as "sexy" as the GS 3, but I'll wait and see how Nokia and M$ further improve this platform.
