If I understand what you are talking about it is the forehand finishing over the shoulder on the players forehand side. I think it just happens and is learned naturally. As players start swinging faster and playing more points eventually you start catching a ball either low to the ground or a little behind you during a point and you finish with a little different swing. I think the lasso reference my be the most helpful as the wrist shoudl collapse over and the racket sort of whips around above the head.
