We have always said the same thing when it come to using poly/-co-poly string. Stringing as low as possible gives you the best in performance and life span. However, pro players string every day so they can string as low as they like. They also switch out racquets when they begin to lose control.

Rec players have to think a little different and string a little higher because they keep the string in the racquet a hell of a lot longer. So find your perfect tension and string higher to allow the string to drop to your desired tension. Seems to work for our customers here anyway.
