Usually, but not always, with pinched nerve there is pain, numbness or tingling spreading well down from where the nerve is compressed.

If the pain was fairly localized, this is less likely a pinched nerve.



Perhaps this painful episode is a harbinger for things to come this year.

I fear all Red Sox fans could be in for a painful summer.

Pitchers and catchers report to Florida in 11 days.

The equipment truck is leaving Fenway even earlier, and the question is whether again this year it will be full of chicken and beer.

I think not, as John Farrell likely will run a tight ship.

It's just a pity he doesn't have a better crew.

Ahh ... the good old days - hope you appreciated the 2004 - 2007 run.

Hope the next one doesn't take 88 years.
