It's 7.0 mixed playoffs at sectionals. A strong 4.0 guy was continuously targeting the lady on the other side (she's a 3.5). But, after pretty much every time he did it, he would apologize. It got pretty silly, to the point he was apologizing after like half the points. She wasn't even upset that he was hitting at her, but she did start rolling her eyes after the 7th or 8th apology. It was obvious to everyone (including mere observers, such as myself) that he was hitting the ball exactly where he intended. But still, the hand was raised, and "sorry" was uttered, like 30 times that match. Kinda amusing in retrospect.
How is this posssible? Last time I checked, 4.0 + 3.5 = 7.5 > 7.0
