Nadal's backhand was a "frightening weapon" in his younger days? GTFO. He couldn't hit anyone off the court with it. Blake used to ravage his backhand on a regular basis. Even Hewitt used to pick that shot apart in order to avoid Nadal's forehand.

Blake was extra brutal with Nadal. Once he hit a powerful shot to Nadal's backhand, he used to move 5 feet inside the court and Nadal retreated 5 feet behind the baseline.
