I think Davydenko will straight set the new(ish) kid, but it will be an interesting match-up. I am surprised Grigor managed to beat tomic, have only seen the highlights.

I haven't seen the match, but the stats sure look good for Davydenko. Mayer, who usually does well on indoor courts, barely managed to win 40
% points on his serve. If I remember correctly Davydenko played very well here in Rotterdam last year as well, coming very close to defeating Federer in the SF.
