At this time of the year how do you calibrate your goals? There are nine months until the end of the season, three grand slams and all the Masters series tournaments still to play. Do you set overall objectives for the year, or limited objectives for say the next three months, or a combination of the two, and what roughly do your objectives look like?

And how do you think about your training? Do you periodise over say the next three months, or the next six months, or the next year?

And finally, how do you stay mentally tuned for year ahead? There are a lot of matches, a lot of travelling, a lot of conditioning to do. How do you stay as mentally sharp as you need to be to manage it all?
