Novak made an example of Seppi, I thought, and turned up the intensity despite already having the match securely in the bag. Did you see that return of serve Novak hit so late in the match? He elevated a routine tennis match to considerable heights by creating and taking the opportunity to exhibit some spectacular tennis when he could easily have strolled through the Park against Seppi something like 6-4,6-3, only raising his level as needed in both sets. But instead, he played slam-level tennis from what I could see and Seppi looked like Monaco against Federer at the USO a couple years ago.
