One Wimbledon final, plus Olympic gold at Wimbledon was an excellent grass season by anyone's reckoning.
The grass season being so short it's hard to tell the difference between a good year on grass and a good few weeks in general terms, but his recent grass form is better than Nadal's recent grass form.
It will be interesting to see their next match-up. Nadal leads the H2H, so Andy should be intimidated by that, but Murray won their last match very convincingly, and Nadal won't be expecting an easy time of it (unless it's clay).
Only away from hardcourts. On hards Murray is 5-6 v Rafa - in fact, since 'arriving' in the upper echelons of the game by winning Cincy in summer 2008, Murray is 5-3 v Rafa on hardcourts; 2-1 in hardcourt slams.
