Take back high and try to contact at a higher point. optimal being chest and shoulder high not waist high. When the takeback is low one tends to contact at a low point and the ball flies for E grip because the racquet face is quite open at a lower point. You can't hit hard and lose confidence.

Take back high and hit the ball at a high point and swing hard.
