How to hit a Tennis Backhand ( One Handed ) in HD / Instructional - Lock and Roll Tennis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiRJr...feature=relmfu
You hit a good 1HBH with your legs.
I don't just mean having a good leg push off.
You've got to move into a perfect hitting position. Because most hit out of a "closed" stance (see above videos) you have to be stepping in and across.
Many players jam themselves by not giving themselves enough distance to step in at a diagonal.
Many players also make the mistake of turning their shoulders (uncoiling) too much so they are already facing the ball before they start their swing.
Watch how hard Tommy Haas works getting set up in the perfect position backhand after backhand.
Nothing lazy in his practice.
Do you practice this hard?
