Yes, his past results speak for themselves, but there is nothing desirable about watching him play. Aside from the one dimensional approach he employs, his strokes look very ugly and he shows up on court looking like a hobo.

At least Gonzo's reckless abandon appeared to have some flair and purpose (sometimes).

Blake does come across as a genuinely nice person during interviews (so maybe that's it).
To each their own. I find his monster forehand and sweet one handed backhand and go for broke style highly entertaining. Like the exact opposite of Gilles Simon.
