in my opinion federer will have the advantage on faster courts while nadal will have the advantage on slower courts. since the us open is a fast hard court, sure, fed has the advantage over nadal, but it will be interesting to see what happens down under. nadal's topspin on a slower rebound ace hard court is liable to blast off big time, not to mention the heat factor in light of the spaniard's courage, fitness, and guts. i was shocked when nadal won on hard in dubai in his second tournament back since his injury. fed smacked him around 6-1 the first set, too. what does that say?
