I went through similar debates about the set up and worth of a Prince PTC. People don't usually know the importance of matching frames or customizing sticks. Instead of spending 50.00 to match or 25.00 to customize they'd rather drop 200.00 on allegedly new technology.
This is just the dogma of the world. Its what keeps giants like TW afloat. So if you get the PTC you might customize two or three racquets or so, but the real pleasure is being able to do so for yourself.
Its 1300.00. I just paid 4000.00 for a Prince 6000. Its my hobby and I stringing brings in a decent flow of extra cash.
If you are serious about wanting to customize your sticks it is by far the cheapest way to go. I enjoy it and wouldn't do it any other way.
