thats a bunch of bologna. You dont keep good practice partners by blasting returns out of the court all the time. Having good relationships with practice partners and getting the most out of your sessions is something a lot of players dont understand. Its an ego thing that some players never get past. You dont "compete" in practice....you practice. Competition is for tournaments and serious match play. Competing in practice is just a poor usage of time. Same goes for the other way. You dont practice in tournaments...you compete.
