If I may offer a rare contribution here, I did hit the K-Blade 98 for a year, and several of my opponents claimed that it was the best frame that I had ever hit for my game----to that point, admittedly. I went through a stretch of hitting it in really cool temperatures for 3-4 hours at a time with full poly (Klip Optic Nerve and Alu Power, if memory serves), and it started bugging my arm, so I switched, perhaps prematurely, but I never looked back. Looking back
the plow and stability of the frame belied its specs, and bite on the ball was pretty special. I think, to be honest, that I had it modded wrong (4g at 3/9, with a minimal counter), but I think at the end of the day, it was just slightly "wrong" for me. And don't press me on that because I really can't express why, but a different setup could have made the difference.
Nonetheless, if you're liking the K-Blade you might want to try my current frame of choice, the V-1 Pro. They play similarly and share many characteristics, but the Volkl's swing weight is a little less and it is much more comfortable, imo.
