To Have and Have Not
(1944) - Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
Reminded me a lot of Casablanca
which was a good feeling. Set in Martinique and the Vichy regime/French resistance.
Bacall was 19 years old, and it was a tad hard imagining her falling for old Bogart. During the filming of the movie, a real life romance developed between the two and they got married. HB broke up with his third wife.
Not too sure about the story of the movie. It's based on Hemingway's novel but a lot is altered. Plot seemed a little weak.
