Agree with definitely get what you pay for in starting clamps. The Babolat ones are very good, but expensive. I think the red handled RAB clamp is the best for the money at around $40. Mine will hold a straight pull at 70+ lbs. I think Alpha sells this same clamp under their brandname through NewTech. I have an Eagnas clamp that I paid around $30 for and it's o.k. for the less demanding situations, but it can't take a straight pull at even 60 lbs. The springs on the Eagnas clamp are much weaker.
